Introduction to Women/Gender Studies is an introduction to the interdisciplinary academic field which considers the complexity and stimulates critical thought about issues related to sex and gender in modern culture. Students learn about definitions of and views about sex and gender from such fields as sociology, women’s studies, men’s studies, education, language, political science, psychology, and biology.
