MCOM 2020 - Television Production |
Video and Film Techniques covers the basic skills needed to direct, produce, shoot, and edit video for a wide range of applications (narrative, non-fiction, institutional, promotional, etc.). The course is project-based and supplemented by readings, response papers, and critiques sessions to help students develop their ability to critically analyze media. Students also learn the skills needed to deliver projects and basic file management. Students do both individual and group projects and are encouraged to develop their unique voice as media-makers and to work effectively with others in teams.
