AVIT 2420 - Airframe Fundamentals VII
Airframe Fundamentals VII will cover ice and rain control systems and airframe fire protection systems. Aircraft icing causes/effects, aircraft and power plant anti-ice systems and components, wiper blade, chemical, and pneumatic bleed air rain control systems, environmental conditions that degrade vision. Types of fires and aircraft fire zones, overheat and fire detection system maintenance and inspection. Fire extinguishing agents, fire extinguishing system maintenance and inspection requirements. Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisites: AVIT 1310, AVIT 1320, AVIT 1410, and AVIT 1420 4 Credit Hours, 2 Lecture Hours, 6 Lab Hours. Note: Course not designed for transfer.
