AVIT 2320 - Airframe Fundamentals V
Airframe Fundamentals V course will cover hydraulic and pneumatic systems and landing gear systems. Hydraulic system components and fluids, hydraulic system servicing requirements, pneumatic system types and components, servicing, function, and operation of accumulators, hoses, lines, and fittings, filter maintenance procedures. Landing gear systems includes fixed and retractable landing gear systems, landing gear strut servicing/lubrication, steering systems, brake assembly servicing and inspection, wheel, brake, and tire construction, landing gear and tire and wheel safety and inspection, alternative landing gear systems (e.g., skis, floats). Prerequisites and Notes Prerequisites: AVIT 1310, 1320, 1410, and 1420 4 Credit Hours - 2 Lecture Hours - 6 Lab Hours Note: Course not designed for transfer.
